The APS is a unique vertical axis wind turbine that is both compact and robust.
Designed by engineers who sought to create a wind turbine system that would be appropriate and viable for use in areas where traditional “propeller” type turbines are not – particularly populated areas where electricity needs are highest. The patent-pending, one-piece rotor design is based on simple physics and solves many of the drawbacks found in traditional turbine design.
The Air Power System allows
ultra clean, efficient operation on a wide variety of wind, not just for emergency or peak power. It can be used every day to
produce power on an environment friendly level.
The APS does not depend on wind direction or wind strength for optimal energy production. It can function from hurricane strength winds to almost no wind flow. Because of the unit being virtually noiseless the APS is a perfect solution for residential and commercial applications.
The invention is to be implemented in different sizes and dimensions. The dimensions can be changed proportionally more broad than high and more high than broad. Thus the APS can be used in any locations and conditions, even where other windmills have failed.
